• Secondary teacher’s qualifying diploma in English and German, now known as Lehrdiplom für Maturitätsschulen LfM
• Proofreader with Federal Certificate (EFA) in English and German

• Teaching posts at secondary schools in the Canton of Zurich and in the Indian Himalayas
• Editor for the «Zürichsee Zeitung» (a Swiss daily newspaper) in Lachen, Schwyz
• Reviser/Product manager for Verlag Sauerländer (a Swiss publisher) in Obfelden, Aargau; specialising in textbooks for healthcare professions
• Self-employed as a journalist, author, editor and proofreader in Presseladen in Zürich since 2009
